Welcome to

The Community Pre-school in West Hallam.

We provide pre-school care and education for children in our local community, promoting a safe, happy and

stimulating environment in which the children have an opportunity to learn through play. We have excellent OFSTED reports and are one of only a handful of pre-schools in Derbyshire to have  gained a Pre-school Learning Alliance Accreditation Quality award. The award is endorsed by Investors in Children and recognises the excellent standard of care and education provided at our setting.

We cater for children from 2 to 5 years and prepare them for the move up to school. We have very strong links with Scargill C of E Aided Primary school in West Hallam which makes this transition all the easier.

All our staff are qualified and dedicated to the care and well being of the  children. We aim to work in partnership with parents to make the child’s time  at pre-school as successful and enjoyable as possible.
